About Me and My Journey

I started finding my passion for the arts when I took my first photography class in high school. Then I started to move into filming and editing videos for my friends who were professional flatland skimboarders. That is when I fell in love with the way I was able to express much more from video than he could from stills.

After high school, I got a job at Origin Distribution in Washington State, who was the parent company owning, DB Skimboards, DB Longboards, and Rayne Longboards. I was the marketing and media assistant for them, creating videos, ads, product photography and keeping up maintenance on their websites. They would have me travel to Canada, Oregon, California, Texas and New York taking video and photos for several companies they were associated with. I would work for them for 3 years before realizing I wanted to move more in the direction of narrative filmmaking.

I would then move to Los Angeles and go to the New York Film Academy to get a Bachelors degree of Fine Arts in filmmaking. This is where I would start making my own films and working on films, music videos and much more projects. Graduating in 3 years I have worked at various crew positions such as Assistant Director, Assistant Camera, Gaffer, Sound, and Grip. All while following my dreams to become a director and writer.
